An absolute beauty of a van, this 204bhp 4motion van left us recently and what a van it is! A very different finish to our usual but it wowed everyone who saw it. Pistachio green units, real oak worktop and tambour doors it had a stunning feel and with the wheat carpet and birch canvas a super light, airy and spacious feel. This van had a super high specification and extras leaving no option unticked to create a truly dreamy conversion that we were sad to see leave!

Often ignored by other companies, but we believe with the right experience and attention to detail installing a pop top on a factory shuttle is possible! Not only possible but can look like that’s how it left the factory. Coupling that with out Deluxe part conversion package and you have the ultimate family vehicle for camping adventures. We also upgraded to the fantastic Webasto ST2000 heater with Mulitcontrol.
This T6.1 came in for the full Cherry Campers conversion and left and absolute beauty. With a full exterior styling package, SoLow suspension and THQ lights it is a stunning on the outside as it is on the inside. A warm and cosy interior with rich burgundy leather seats to match the pop top canvas. A RIB Glidemotion sliding bed makes this a hugely practical van with flexible storage and sleeping options. With underslung water tanks and gas tank the units are empty to ensure as much storage as possible.
A complete custom build for the team here. The client specced a Reimo Variotech wider bed which meant designing custom units from the ground up. We chose to use plenty of tambour doors allowing flexible access to the storage regardless of where the sliding bed was on the rails. A house favourite Nebraska Oak laminate was used to create a warming and cosy interior. The green vanshades compliment the exterior half vinyl wrap.
Our first full Crafter and another fully custom conversion, the brief was simple: No carpet, no door catches and not claustrophobic.. ok not so simple! Together with the customer we carefully picked the finishes and materials to create the desired finish whilst also standing the test of time. A grooved panelling was used to line the walls instead of traditional carpet and to give a Scandinavian feel to the conversion. No WC/Shower as there are no plans to use this van off-grid. Natural Nebraska oak gives a beautifully warm contrast to the white walls and really makes this van a lovely place to be. With twin sofas and a huge bed comfort was at the foremost of the design. A true one-off!
An almost full Morello conversion but without the RIB bed, this customer uses the van for a variety of things, work/cycling/holidays so we had to adjust our usual spec. We decided on removing the RIB bed as it was unlikely to used and left a huge amount of space for mountain bikes and kitchen appliances for work. Santa Fe Oak gives a lovely plank-effect finish to the units with a pure white Corian work top a striking contrast with the glimpses of blue body work, a really classy finish!
Our 2023 demo van is something special! A Blackberry SWB T5.1, lowering on So Low Coilovers with Rolls Royce Wheels, well if we were going to build something special we might as well go all out!
We built our demo van to our Morello package specification, to give a true representation of what our comprehensive package gives you on a conversion. Grey Nebraska Oak units with a Concrete effect floor really complement the right Blackberry metallic paint on the van with a stunning Nimbus Prima Corian worktop. A real step for us as a business was investing significant time and resources into building our own furniture in house and a retuning customer had faith in us to be the first conversion with our new layout! Countless hours were put into the development of this van and what a finished product we gave back. A few changes to our conversion package, with the addition of a Smart bed on rails a firm favourite, but also the omission of a hob/sink at the customers request (hey, if you’re on holiday who wants to cook or clean?!) This van is the first of many Morello conversion on the books and we’re super pleased to be offering this conversion!
A relatively simple conversion but what a transformation! Storm pop top, full interior carpet line, lighting, Vanshades and a Slidepod. This van started life as a factory kombi and didn’t take too much converting to transform into this amazing day van/camper van. The real selling point on this van is within ten minutes the Slidepod can be removed and the rear seats removed turning it into a full-payload van! Some lovely Navis wheels with All-terrain tyres were added to finish off this go anywhere, do anything conversion, we love it!
*Bias opinion, Fortana Red is one of my favourites!
This was a joint project between Cosmic Campervan in Derby and us here at Cherry, with the van coming to us having had the roof fitted and carpet lining done by Cosmic (great job done!) We then finished the conversion adding the units, blinds, final fix electrics and Smart Bed on rails. A truly stunning conversion with lovely pops of personality with the bamboo worktop and red Vanshade blinds really setting that interior off and matching the colour of the van oh so well. Full of CBE electrical install this van is ready for adventure and has been to the Alps for a maiden voyage! |
